This was the second event we've been to this year (yes, of two) -- the first delicious one was cheffed by Debbie Gold, Michael Covino, and Nick Wesemann. It was so good we HAD to come to this one, too. This time we brought good friends, good eaters all -- and the vegetarian (sigh) among them was served equally phenomenal dishes, though he had to be shamed into sharing.
It has (often) occurred to me that pictures of food of meals previous partaken, perhaps by strangers, is dabbling in masochism. If that's possible. So the point of this blog, my very first real one, is not to say, "Nah-nanny-nah-nah but to encourage you to catch one, two, or eight of these as they come up. Do the wine pairings as well -- though the food is truly scrumptious without the wine, G.M. Jamie Jamison's choices are always phenomenal, at both levels, whether for $35 or $55. How nice to have an option. And because I'm going to always include prices (as long as I can remember them anyway), the five course meal with two amuse-bouches was $75 pp. Find some fun friends like I did and turn an ordinary Tuesday evening into a night to savor.
