Our tradition . . .
So my husband Bill, otherwise known as my portly companion, always takes me there for Mother's Day. Wonderful son Brandon, from Dallas, often pays for it.
It was beautiful and importantly, delicious food! Look at the pictures and while they may each may not tell a 1,000 word story, even my photography should get the point across. (And why I can't get those pictures to be the right size I do not know. Yet. Working on it!) What they don't show are the men behind the food, drink, ambiance, and service: Jamison Jameson, GM and wine director extraordinaire; the immensely talented Chef Michael Corvino whose dishes are so creative I cannot give him justice in words; Chef Nick Wesemann who makes the most amazing desserts in the world; and Robert, always my favorite who's been there as long as we've been coming there (that's 20 years at least), a great guy among a wonderful staff.
And you know, it really doesn't take an occasion to go here. But it IS an occasion when I do.
